About our speakers:
Morgan Carpenter is the Director of Alumni Engagement at Mount St. Joseph University. After earning her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and New Media Studies from the Mount in 2020, Morgan joined the Institutional Advancement team full-time as the IA Content Specialist. It was in this position that she began to build the digital communication and social media plans for the Office of Alumni Relations.
Throughout her time in advancement and alumni relations, Morgan has worked to leverage digital touchpoints with constituents to drive in-person engagement and giving. Morgan’s favorite part of working in Alumni Relations is having the opportunity to connect with alumni each day through phone calls, social media, e-newsletters, and events!
Mikayla Courtney currently serves as the Manager of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving at Mount St. Joseph University. Since joining the Mount in 2021, she has worked to establish meaningful connections with young alumni through event programming and communication strategies.
Mikayla received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) in 2020. While a student, she worked as a Student Liaison in the EKU Office of Alumni Engagement and served as President of the EKU Student Alumni Ambassadors — a student organization designed to serve past, present and future EKU students. After graduation, Mikayla worked as a Marketing Specialist for Eastern Kentucky University’s online academic programs before returning home to the Cincinnati area.
