Laura Kariofiles is the Director of Donor Engagement & Leadership Annual Giving at Xavier University. She leads the effort to engage and solicit leadership society level donors at the University. She also manages campus and volunteer logistics during March Gladness, Xavier’s two-day giving event.
Carolyn Shields is an annual giving professional at Xavier University. She oversees the two-day fundraising event, March Gladness, which raises money for academic programs, centers, scholarships, and student extracurricular activities on campus. This will be the 10th year celebrating Xavier’s days of giving.
Phillip James serves as the Director of Annual Giving at the University of Cincinnati Foundation overseeing the Digital Philanthropy Center, giving days and other special projects. Phillip has over 20 years of experience in fundraising and alumni engagement. Prior to joining the University of Cincinnati Foundation in 2013, Phillip served as the Assistant Director of Development at Morehead State University, where he managed the annual giving operations. Previously, he served as the Assistant Director for Alumni Relations where he was responsible for a variety of alumni engagement initiatives. Phillip holds an MBA and BBA from Morehead State University.
